All Hands-on Deck! August 15th, from 10 am to 6 pm, is the date and time chosen to support those in need with food donations, and Throttle Powersports Pembroke is proud to join the cause!
The Food Drive is an event annually organized by the radio MYFM (104.9) at various grocery stores from Golden Lake, through Pembroke and Petawawa all the way to Deep River. The event supports those in need, especially with the upcoming back-to-school season.
Last year, the event reached over 8000 pounds of food and more than 5000 dollars in cash over the course of the day for the Grind in Pembroke, the Petawawa Pantry, the St. Joseph’s Food Bank, the Sharing Place in Golden Lake, and the Algonquin Students’ Association Food Cupboard.
